Setup Jira Account

 

  • Sign in to your Atlassian account here. Don’t have a Jira account? Click here
  • Create a Jira Service Management Project
    1. Click the app launcher (9 dots in the upper-left corner) or use the new account setup.
    2. Choose Service Management, then the relevant project type (e.g., IT Service Management).
    3. Set the project Name, Key, and Team type, then click Create.
    4. Click on Project Settings. Make note of the following:
      1. Jira Instance Name: https://company.atlassian.net (copy from URL)
      2. Email Address: In left menu, click on Email Requests. Use this email address to open tickets for this Instance.
  • Invite Netdots AI user:
    • Go to the Administration page (gear icon), select Directory and then Invite Users:
    • Enter [email protected] and assign the following permissions:
      • Jira Service Management: User Agent (not Customer)
      • Jira: User
      • Jira Administration: Product Admin
    • Approve access for netdots.net
