Setup Netdots AI Account

  • Create Account on Netdots Service Management
  • Add your company information and Jira URL (yourcompany.atlassian.net)
  • User Management: Define user roles, supervisors and Skype ID for escalations
  • Create/Map any other Jira software projects to this service desk by defining the email and/or domain customer requests will be received from (ex, customer.com or [email protected]).

 

Test setup by sending email to email address identified in Jira Setup (ex. [email protected]).

  • Once ticket is received, have someone specified as Specialist add a comment to the corresponding General (GEN) project ticket.
    • Wait at least 10 minutes (delay is purposely added in case Engineer adds follow up comments).
    • If the Service Desk Ticket is not updating, open a ticket with Netdots Support
